There are three categories of BIAFD membership:

General membership is open to any UK or Irish company, in which fastener distribution comprises a significant proportion of their business activities.

Executive membership is open to similar companies but provides additional meeting opportunities as well as an intensive news and analysis service.

Associate membership is open to service providers to the UK & Irish fastener distribution sector, including systems suppliers and media.

All levels of membership entitle one delegate to attend each of the two general meetings, including lunch, at no additional cost. Executive membership includes the cost for one to attend the dinner held after each meeting. Additional delegates are always very welcome. Delegate rates are notified for each meeting and members invoiced after the event. Special overnight accommodation rates are organised on behalf of members.

All membership applications are subject to approval by the BIAFD Executive.

Applications from companies unable to demonstrate a minimum of two years satisfactory trading will not be considered.

An application form is available from the secretary, which is simply returned by email. Applicants also receive a copy of the current BIAFD Rules to which they will be required to adhere.

Once the application is approved an invoice for a pro-rated subscription for the current membership year is issued and membership is activated from the date of its payment.
